New Project

Well, if you keep up with my other blog, you know that I'm also a minister. My wife and I have been looking for a church at the same time I've been looking for a new regularly gigging band. Well, I think I have the answer to both now. The house church I've been leading for not quite the past year and a half has always had a strong emphasis on international relief work. It seems that is going to be our new focus, in that we are likely going to transform into an organization for that purpose, and be under the umbrella of another young church called The Oasis.

The Oasis is a young church plant based in St. Charles, MO. It appears I will be serving as an associate minister/worship leader there. I'm quite excited. That of course brings up my second point.

I have decided to suspend search for a new band because I am going to be leading the worship band at The Oasis. As of right now, I'm training a new batch of musicians from scratch. We will be the house band for corporate worship services and all related functions of The Oasis. While serving in these roles I will continue to serve as bassist in Asaph the house band for Logos Room each month. Of course I will also gig with The Jessie Phillips Band when the full band is needed as well.

Don't forget to check out Impact Worship for the latest updates in activities there!
